A hand grenade was recovered from the gate of intending candidate Md Islaouddin alias MI Khan at Keirao Makting Makha Leikai under Irilbung Police Station (PS) of Imphal East District in Manipur, reports Imphal Free Press. A warning note saying “MI Khan, you cannot contest the upcoming general election, 2022. This is the first and final warning. You won’t be spared the next time” was also recovered along with the grenade.
