On 2 December 2021, near Kaing Kan village, Tabayin township (Shwebo district, Sagaing Region) People's Defense Force - Tabayin carried out a mine attack on Myanmar military foot soldiers approaching Kaing Kan village at around 3 pm. At least 25 Myanmar military soldiers died.
