On 3 December 2021, Houthi forces blew up a civilian house in At Tufayli (Maqbanah, Taizz). There were no fatalities but the explosion caused material damage to neighboring houses. The source claimed that Houthi forces have been destroying civilian houses to slow down the progress of anti-Houthi forces in Maqbanah district.
