IED event in Satakunta, Kankaanpaa area, Finland on Sat 4th December 2021

#Finland: Police Forces have arrested 5 Far-right militants who were preparing a gun & bomb attack in #Kankaanpaa (#Kankaanpää), #Satakunta Region and captured various weapons & IED materials. First of all, a standard AKM pattern was recovered. It appears to be chambered in 7.62x39mm and features Magpul furnitures (ZHUKOV-S style stock, MOE AK grip & handguards) and foregrip. It is likely a civilian/semi-auto derivative. In addition to these; Several common shotguns (likely along with 12 Gauge ammo) were captured by the Police as well. The captured rifle in the 4th photo seems to be a 5.5mm/22 Cal air rifle. Quite common and easy to obtain. Police officers have also seized a pocket pistol as well. It seems to be chambered in .25 ACP/6.35x16mmSR and a one-hand variant (note the grip, indentation on slide & cocking handle rail); perhaps a Lignose A2 Einhand pocket pistol with removed cocking handle/trigger guard. Plus, several #IED material were seized after the raid. The photos show the captured explosive materials, possible SPD Chords and electric detonators. So, the group was apparently well-armed and equipped. They seem to have enough materials to carry out an efficient attack. Tried to ID some pieces as much as possible, yet it is very hard to say things precisely due to low quality of photos —so some correction might be added.
