On 21 November 2021, in Budalin township (Monywa district, Sagaing region), the Budalin PDF and the Kani PDF fired five artillery shells at the military's speedboats travelling along the Chindwin River from Monywa Ahlone Port, between In Taw Port and Noain Taw Port. There were casualties.
