On 24 November 2021, near Htee Saung village bridge (in Myinmu township, Sagaing district, Sagaing), a bomb exploded on the Monywa-Mandalay road. The military troops were firing in the vicinity when they arrived at the scene of the explosion. The Myinmu PDF earlier announced people not to travel on the Monywa-Mandalay road. Casualties unknown.
