On 26 November 2021, in Taze town (Taze township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Taze PDF attacked military forces patrolling on motorcycles with mines near a court. After the mine attack, the military fired indiscriminately and a local was shot in the leg and injured. Three military soldiers were killed and two motorcycles were damaged.
