On 26 November 2021, in Lel Gyi village of Kale township (coded as Kale) (Kale district, Sagaing region), the military forces and about 60 members of the Pyu Saw Htee from Kyauk Pyoke village fired heavy artillery shells at the village. One villager was hit by the shells and others were fleeing.
