On November 25, a People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak-progressive (PREPAK-pro) militant was arrested from Mantripukhri in Imphal West of Manipur, reportsImphal Free Press. During a search operation, the militant identified as Nongthombam Abung Meetei alias Nongdamba came to Mantripukhri-Koirengei area to plant two improvised explosive device (IED) bombs to target the Security Forces (SF). The bombs including 2 RDX (cake) weighing about 150 grams; 2 RC receiver (circuit board); 2 electric detonators (no.33), 2 9-volt battery (Panasonic); one remote control device; one mobile phone and one wallet kept hidden at the foothill of Thumbi Ching of Nongpok Sanjenbam were later retrieved.
