On 1 February 2022, a Taliban Ranger vehicle was targeted by an IED attack in PD3 area of Charikar city, Parwan. Taliban officials claimed one civilian was injured in the incident. However, NRF took responsibility for the attack and claimed killing of 5 and injuring of 1 Taliban member including a commander of their Red-Unit.
