On 2 February 2022, an Azerbaijani civilian was hit by a cluster bomb in the Aran settlement, Yevlakh region, while grazing sheep as a result of which he died. According to Azerbaijani reports the cluster bomb was dropped by the Armenian side during the 2020 Nagorno Karabakh war.
