On March 20, at least one soldier was killed and another injured when an explosive planted by PKK went off on Judi Mountain, Silopi, Sirnak. PKK claimed having killed five soldiers and injured six but these reportes are unconfirmed. As reported on March 26, one more soldier succumbed to his injuries several days later.
