On 27 January 2022, in Remedios (Antioquia), unidentified armed individuals used grenades to attack a police station. The blast caused several damages to the building and a vehicle that was parked nearby the area. Although the authorship of the attack has not been confirmed, the area is known for the presence of armed groups. There were no fatalities.
