On 26 January 2022, near Zee Hpyu Kyin village, Tigyaing township (Katha district, Sagaing region), the People's Defense forces local group carried mine attacks against about 15 Myanmar military forces near Zee Hpyu Kyin village at around 10:58am. At least seven military forces died.
