On 25 January 2022, in Andalucia (Valle del Cauca), an unidentified armed individual on a motorcycle threw a grenade at a police patrol that was parked near the municipal hall. The explosion caused several damages to the building, and resulted in one officer injured. The area is known for the presence of armed groups. There were no fatalities.
