On March 14 2019, two rockets were fired from the northern Gaza Strip into Israel and landed in the Gush Dan area near Tel Aviv. The Iron Dome failed to intercept the rockets and warning sirens were heard in the area around Tel Aviv. No injuries were reported. Both Hamas and the Islamic Jihad have denied being responsible for the attack.
