On 24 January 2022, in Zigon town (Thayarwady district, Bago region), the People's Defense Force - Zigon carried out a bomb attack as a warning on Electrical Power Corporation (EPC) Office at around 9 am for forcing local civilians to pay electricity bills, according to ZG-PDF spokesperson. There were no casualties.
