On 24 January 2022, in Ma Lawt (coded as Ma Lawt Ah Lel Su) village, Bogale township (Pyapon district, Ayeyarwady region), a bomb explosion occurred at the house of village administrator at around 11 pm. There were no casualties. The local administrator often threatened local villagers to confiscate thier lands if they do not repay agricultural lone and sue if they refuse COVID-19 vaccination.
