On 23 January 2022, in Tame (Arauca), an unidentified armed group threw a grenade at the premises of a pharmaceutical company. Witnesses stated the men threw the device directly at the entrance of the building. The explosion caused several damages. The area is known for the presence of FARC dissident groups and ELN. There were no fatalities.
