On 22 January 2022, in Sagaing town (Sagaing township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), Sagaing Myo Moe Gyoe Pyuak Kyar Tatphwe: Sagaing Town Lightning Guerrilla Force attacked Kanbawza bank branch (1) with a bomb in Pan Be Dan ward at around 6 pm. It is said that the KBZ bank closed KPay accounts of people in defiance of the military. Casualties unknown.
