A Special Police Officer (SPO) was killed and a proclaimed assailant was killed during a raid in Urmur village on the outskirts of Peshawar, provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa early on January 25, reports Dawn. Police identified the SPO as Samiullah, and the proclaimed assailant as Irfan. The accused was trying to flee the Police during the raid when the SPO grabbed him, and upon this, the accused opened fire, killing the Police official. Later, Irfan was also shot dead by other Policemen.
