Around 15 January 2022, in the rural area of Saravena municipality (Arauca), FARC dissidents set off an explosive device on the route that connects Saravena with Tame, in El Consuelo vereda. In social media, a FARC dissidence claimed responsibility for the attack and claimed it was targeted towards military forces in the area. There were no casualties.
