On 16 January 2022, in Ahlone township (Yangon-West district, Yangon region), the STA bombed the Htoo gas station. A fire broke out and almost all of the gas station was completely destroyed. According to a statement from STA, the bombing was carried out as the owner of the gas station was affiliated with the military. There were no casualties.
