On 17 January 2022, in Monywa town (Monway district, Sagaing region), joint forces of Monywa Night King and Assault and Clearance Force Monywa - ACF carried out bomb and grenade attacks at multiple locations in Monywa town (two on Ar Zar Ni Road, Paya Ni, Myo Pat Road, Yankin Traffic light, in front of Chindwin Myint Hotel, Kyauk Ka Street, Kan Thaya, Thama Seik intersection, EPC Office intersection, Ar Thaw Ka intersection, Gambling street, near Agecare roundabout, Thar Si traffic light, and six bomb attacks at LIB-16 military base). Casualties unknown.
