On 17 January 2022, in Paung Toke village, Mruak-U township (Mrauk-U district, Rakhine State), a bomb explosion occurred at around 12 pm at house of U Ka La Chi. The explosion injured two children, 7-8-years-old boys. According to locals, the explosion occurred as the two boys picked up and played with the unexploded bomb.
