On 18 January 2022, near Thea Sar (East) village, Taze township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the People's Defense Force - Taze and local People's Defense Force launched a mine attack against around 30 military forces and Pyu Saw Htee members at around 3pm. The attack killed five military force and Pyu Saw Htee members. One PDF member also died. Fatalities coded as 6.
