On 19 January 2022, in Monywa town of Monywa township (Monywa district, Sagaing region), the Monywa Nightking and its allies attacked the military checkpoints in four locations - at Bo Bwar Yeik Thar roundabout, a local police station, an industrial zone hall and on town circular road - with remote-controlled explosives. The allies are - Assault and Clearance Force Monywa (ACF Monywa), Monywa People's Defense Force (Thanmani), Monywa the Boys, Monywa Ninja and Monywa Phoenix Warrior. Casualties unknown.
