On 12 February 2022, in Nawng Woe village (Lawksawk township, Taunggyi district, Shan-South), a 23-year-old and 19-year-old females were injured when they stepped on a landmine at around 3 pm. Both of them were hospitalized in Sat San Tun hospital in Taunggyi.
