On 15 February 2022, in Daw Ngan Khar village, Demoso township (Loikaw district, Kayah State), heavy weapons fired by the Myanmar military forces destroyed a Christian Church building in Daw Ngan Khar ward in Demoso town at around 10 am. There were no casualties.
