On 16 February 2022, two explosives planted by NRF targeted 2 vehicles of the Taliban forces in Gorgoti area of Rukha [coded to Bazarak with GP2] district, Panjshir. Taliban did not reveal information about the causalties while eyewitnesses mentioned several were killed and wounded and the houses around the explosion site were damaged. Fatalities coded as 3 (NRF reported 6 fatalities and 2 injuries of the Taliban forces).
