On 16 February 2022, in Kyauk Ta Dar village of Madaya township (Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), a military column of 32 trucks travelling from Tabeikkyin to Mandalay was attacked with remote-controlled explosives at 8:40 am and again at 8:47 am near the village school. The Madaya PDF and Mandalay PDF jointly did the attack. Casualties unknown.
