The French camp in Gao - Desert Operational Platform (DOP) - in Mali was targeted by armed terrorist groups who fired 120mm mortar shells on Saturday 22 January at around 4pm (local time - 5pm in France). About ten shots were counted by the French army. "The shots were located about 6 km east of the base," a French military source told La Provence.
