Other MoA event in Koulikoro, Water and Forest office in Soribougou in the cercle of Kati area, Mali on Wed 29th December 2021

On the same Wednesday evening, 29 December, unidentified armed men attacked the Water et Forest post in Soribougou, in the cercle of Kati, 90 km from Bamako. Two people were reportedly killed. The heavily armed men arrived at the Water and Forests post at around 9pm and shot at everything, killing two people on the spot. At the time of the attack, three forestry officers who were on site withdrew and were able to alert the Kati gendarmerie, which immediately dispatched a team from the Forsat, which was already on patrol in the Neguela area, some thirty kilometres from the scene of the attack.
