Two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists were killed in an encounter with Security Forces (SFs) in Naina Batpora area of Pulwama District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on March 10, reports Daily Excelsior. Acting on specific inputs about the presence of terrorists in Naina Batpora area, SFs launched a cordon and search operation, an unnamed Police official said. The search operation turned into an encounter after the terrorists fired upon the forces, who retaliated. In the ensuing exchange of fire, the two terrorists were killed, the Police official added. Arms and ammunition was recovered from the site of the encounter.
