On 5 March 2022, in Americana (Sao Paulo), armed suspects blew up an ATM next to a supermarket in the Jardim America 2 neighborhood. The suspects escaped. Afterwards, the military police went to the scene, defused an explosive, and found ammunition. No casualties occurred.
