20 persons including 18 Policemen and two protestors were injured on March 2 during a demonstration against the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in Birendranagarcity of Surkhet District amidst a curfew order, reports The Himalayan Times. The violation of the curfew resulted in a scuffle between security forces and protesters. Police arrested 23 protestors.
