The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on February 28 shot dead one Muttahida Qaumi Movement - London (MQM-L) target killer, identified as Azam alias Ganja, during an encounter in the Bagh Korangi area of Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh, reports ARY News. Azam accomplice managed to flee from the location. According to an unnamed CTD spokesperson, Azam was allegedly a close aide of notorious criminal Junaid alias Bulldog and a key member of the target killers’ team of MQM-L’s Korangi sector.
