On 28 February 2022, in Pe Yin Taung village (Ywangan township, Danu Self-Administered Zone, Shan-South state), the SSPDF and the Ywangan PDF bombed and destroyed a telecom tower operated by the Myanmar military owned company Mytel. There were no casualties.
