On 28 February 2022, between Tha Ma Yoe and Shwe Pan Kone villages of Wetlet township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Wetlet PDF conducted a mine attack against five military soldiers riding two motorbikes, killing 3 members - a sergeant, a regimental sergeant major, and a soldier and injuring four others.
