On 2 March 2022, between Taal and Tlangzar villages, Falam township (Falam district, Chin State), joint forces of the Chin National Army (CNA), Chin National Defense Force (CNDF), and Chinland Defense Force (CDF) carried out mine attacks against 22 military convoy vehicles. About 30 military soldiers died.
