Two Policemen were killed and another was injured after gunmen attacked them at a restaurant in the Eastern Bypass area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan on February 25, reports Dawn. Police described the incident as a targeted terrorist attack and said the cops were martyred when they were having lunch at the restaurant. The deceased have been identified as assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Rehmatullah Dharpali of Dera Murad Jamali and Constable Ali Asghar. The injured Constable has been identified as Qurban Ali. The banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for the attack.
