On 21 February 2022, two IEDs by a unknown group detonated in a solar light mast and at the second bridge behind the disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) male center in Baidoa town (Baydhaba, Bay). There were no fatalities and two civilians bystanders were injured. A third IED, attached in the same location, was detonated by the local security forces (presumed military/SNA).
