On 24 February 2022, in Than Po village, Kale township (Kale district, Sagiang region), the Myanmar military forces stationed in Yan Gyi Aung village fired heavy weapons at least ten times targeting Than Po village. One civilian woman was injured by heavy weapons fired by the military forces. The military also occupied a temporary IDP camp. There were about 100 IDPs living at the camp but the military claimed it was a PDF camp. The military also arrested some villagers.
