On 24 February 2022, in Naung Ka Toke village, Thaton township (Thaton district, Mon State), the Myanmar military forces Light Infantry Battalion-9 based in Kya Khat Chaung fired heavy weapons three times targeting Naung Ka Toke village at around 9 pm. A residential house and a school were damaged by explosions of heavy weapons fired by the military forces. Casualties unknown.
