Police arrested two Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants from Sunnergund area in Budgam District of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on March 28, reports Daily Excelsior. An official said that Budgam Police along with 62 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) of Army arrested two militants of LeT, identified as Waseem Ahmad Ganai, resident of Ramnagri Shopian & Iqbal Ashraf Sheikh, resident of Sedow Shopian, from Sunnergund area of Budgam. “Incriminating materials, arms and ammunition including a Chinese Pistol, two pistol magazines, 12 pistol rounds and 32 AK-47 rounds have been recovered from their possession,” the official said.
