On 22 March 2022, in Myitkyina town (Myitkyina township, Myitkyina district, Kachin state), an unknown group attacked military forces in charge of security at Myitkyina Golf Course with a 40mm grenade launcher at 6 pm. At around 7 pm, an unidentified group fired 40 mm grenades at military forces in charge of security at the Northern Command. Casualties unknown.
