On 24 March 2022, 3 unidentified gunmen threw a grenade inside Al Ujaynat cemetery in Taizz - Al Ujaynat (Al Mudhaffar). The explosion caused no injuries or fatalities and the perpetrators were arrested by the Taizz police later that day. The reason behind the incident was not reported.
