On 23 March 2022, in Ywar Thar Yar village (coded as Ywar Thar (Ywar Thar Yar)) (Yinmarbin township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), artillery shells exploded in the Yaw Thar Yar village when the military indiscriminately fired heavy artillery shells at other villages from Hnaw Yoe village. There were no casualties.
