On 24 March 2022, in Myawaddy town (Myawaddy district, Kayin State), a bomb explosion occurred at a Lin Thiri Coffee Shop, owned by the Battalion Commander of BGF Battalion (4), located in No.3 ward at around 9 pm. The explosion damaged Lin Thiri Coffee building but there were no casualties. No group claimed responsibility for the explosion.
