Around 25 March 2022 (as reported), presumed Islamic State militants targeted a land cruiser belonging to an unidentified armed group with an IED in Al Samoura (Rafah, North Sinai). The land cruiser likely belonged to either the Egyptian military forces or Union of Sinai Tribes. There were no fatalities.
